Tea was my first beverage love. I started tea drinking in college because I didn’t yet like coffee and I really wanted to carry around a travel coffee mug. How embarrassing!
The Teavana way is my preferred method of tea drinking. Pictured above is (almost) everything I need to make a piping hot cup of tea: Teavana’s the Perfect Tea Maker, The Crystal Clear Electric Kettle (not pictured), measuring spoons, tea leaves, and one of my favorite mugs from the beloved Anthropolgie. These products make it so easy for me… I start by heating up water in the Crystal Clear. It comes to the perfect temp! While the water is heating up I scoop the suggested amount of tea leaves into the Perfect Tea Maker. Then I just pour the water from the Crystal Clear into the Perfect Tea Maker, and let it brew for the suggested amount of time (depending on the tea). All you have to do is set the Perfect Tea Maker onto your mug, and the tea just strains right in. It’s delightful.
People often ask me what flavors of tea I most enjoy, and honestly I don’t really have a “go to”. Teavana’s website is so helpful, though, and I can get lost in the descriptions of all the different tea flavors they have available. Overall I prefer the warm, earthy teas over anything super fruity.
If you’re not already a tea drinker, I implore you to take the leap! You don’t have to leave coffee behind, you’re simply introducing a new drink to enjoy. Variety is, indeed, the spice of life!
P.S. All opinions are my own.
